Shawn has been the Minister at the Newberg Church of Christ, Newberg, Oregon, since October 2012. Prior to coming to Newberg he was the Head Counselor at Portland Christian Schools for three years and was an Academic Dean and Bible Professor at Cascade College in Portland, Oregon for 15 years.  Shawn holds a BA in Biblical Studies (1981; CCC), BS in General Business (1985; CCC), MS in Ministry (1992; Pepperdine), and D.Min. (1997; Northwest Graduate School of the Ministry).  Shawn’s favorite things to teach are Biblical text and ministry.     Shawn and his wife Nancy have three grown children
